Ardbeg Distillery has become legendary for pushing peat levels to extremes while preserving balance, texture, and complexity within its Islay single malts. On the nose, it explodes with smoke, tar, citrus peel, and sea salt. The palate is massive and oily with powerful peat, dark chocolate, pepper spice, and medicinal notes, finishing endlessly smoky and warming.
