Yann Durieux - Recrue des Sens 'Tete de Ponts', 2017

"Tete De Ponts"- biodynamic dry red wine from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, which is grown in the company's own vineyards in the village of Messanges.

The nose is dominated by nuances of balsamic herbs, prunes, red berries and leather complimenting the visually pleasing deep ruby red colour. On the palate the wine has a rich, harmonious, fresh taste with fruity and spicy accents, mild acidity, dense tannins and a long aftertaste with hints of oak.

 "Tete De Ponts" is the only wine by Yann Durieux, which is aged in new oak barrels.  The wine is bottled without clarification, filtration and sulfur.

 The philosophy of this passionate winemaker is simple: only natural winemaking, organic and biodynamic cultivation methods.
