Laphroaig – Quarter Cask

Laphroaig Quarter Cask is a celebrated Islay single malt matured in smaller quarter casks to intensify wood interaction and accelerate flavour development. Produced by the historic Laphroaig Distillery, founded in 1815, this expression reflects the distillery’s mastery of balancing bold peat smoke with sweetness and texture. On the nose, it displays rich peat smoke, vanilla fudge, sea spray, and toasted coconut with hints of medicinal herbs. The palate is full-bodied and warming with flavours of sweet oak, charcoal smoke, black pepper, caramel, and iodine, leading into a long finish with lingering campfire smoke and spice.
