Louis Roederer Cristal is the house’s prestige cuvée, originating in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II. Cristal 2006 showcases their meticulous vineyard selection and extended lees aging, blending Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Grand Cru vineyards. The 2006 displays aromas of white flowers, citrus, baked apple, and lightly toasted brioche. On the palate, it is creamy, precise, and layered, with fresh acidity and a long, elegant finish.
